DES MOINES (AP)- Gay Moffit suffers from hay fever and occasionally pops a cold pill to remedy her stuffy sinuses.

However, the 65-year-old North English woman worries about easy access to the pills after lawmakers sent Gov. Tom Vilsack a bill that restricts the sale of pseudoephedrine, a common decongestant used to make methamphetamine. The governor was expected to sign the bill, which would take effect in May, as early as Monday.
