Question: I've heard the Carnegie-Stout Public Library has boxes of books out each week for recycling. Why not give them away to individuals or groups, like the Tri-State Independent Blind Society, that sells books?
Answer: Library Director Susan Henricks said the Tri-State Independent Blind Society not only can't handle the volume of books the library recycles, but it also will only take gently used books.See the full content of this document
