Summary
On Monday, Oct. 10, the Warrior volleyball team played their last home game of the season, and it was a special night for all the seniors taking the court as it was senior night. Long time rival Galena came to challenge the Warriors. Coach Brian McLane indicated earlier in the year that you can never discount Galena; they are well coached and always contend. The Warriors looked to avenge an earlier loss in the season to Galena and the stage was set on this special occasion for the graduating seniors.
The Warriors came out of the gate getting aggressive at the net but the Pirates had an answer for that aggressiveness and the game seemed to fall into sort of a lull. No team got back to that explosive effort. Instead points were exchanged and in the end the Warriors lost the first game 25 - 19. The second game had much of the same flavor and the Warriors dropped the match, losing 25 - 21.See the full content of this document
