WAUSAU - The husband of the central Wisconsin woman accused of praying while her daughter died of undiagnosed diabetes is among nearly 50 possible witnesses in the mother's homicide trial, a prosecutor said Thursday as attorneys began picking a jury.

Leilani Neumann, 41, is charged with second-degree reckless homicide in her daughter Madeline's death on Easter 2008. Prosecutors claim the 11-year-old girl was too weak to speak, eat, drink or walk and the parents had a legal duty to take her to a doctor.
