The Jo Daviess County Association of Township Officials will hold a spring meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2005 at the Clubhouse at Apple Canyon Lake.
After a brief business meeting, Terry Mutchler, Public Access Counselor of the Illinois Attorney General's Office, will speak on the Open Meetings Act and the Freedom of Information Act. County Association chairperson Beverly Mellskog of East Galena Township has called this "a particularly relevant way to start our new four-year term of office." The meeting is free and open to the public.
