Summary
The next generation of Apple's iPad will be a faster, thinner, lighter tablet with two digital cameras.
Steve Jobs told a select crowd at an Apple press event in downtown San Francisco that the iPad 2 is 33 percent thinner than its predecessor - shrinking from 13.4mm to 8.8mm thick - and lighter, slimming from 1.5 pounds to down to 1.3 lbs. Jobs noted that the iPad 2 has a new processor that is about twice as fast as the original iPad and processes graphics up to nine times faster. It will ship March 11, and the prices are the same as the original iPad, starting at $499.See the full content of this document
