DES MOINES (AP) - Republican legislative leaders accused state education officials Thursday of changing reading test scoring measures to make Iowa's results look better.

"We've dumbed down our tests," Senate President Jeff Lamberti, R- Ankeny, said. "They have re-normed our tests to try to show gains in reading."
