Recent violent attacks on Islamic persons, places of worship, their Holy Book and explicit threats to a planned and zoned New York City Islamic cultural center were brought about by weapons of mass deception; by marriage between church and hate, but mostly a failure of the Fourth Estate.

For example, an outrageous editorial 'toon with two desperate people jumping from the burning World Trade Center was published in TH op-ed space. The 'toon was a broad attack on Islam as such, but particularly an Islamic Cultural/Community Center that includes spaces for worship, recreation and learning on the site of a former Burlington Coat Factory; not the World Trade Center site. The 'toon was a broad defamation. It was libelous and inflammatory.
