Hard to believe that a song as relatively innocuous as "Wake Up Little Susie" would be thought of virtually as the spawn of Satan. But after its release in 1957, the catchy Everly Brothers' tune was banned by a Boston radio station for being too suggestive for teens.

It wasn't the first song in the history of the land of the free to be subject to censorship, and it definitely wasn't the last.
