DES MOINES (AP) - The slow growth in Iowa's economy is stirring a debate about the economic punch of renewable fuels.

A report from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis said Iowa's gross state product climbed a modest 2.6 percent in 2006, ranking Iowa 32nd in the nation. Gross state product is a measure of goods and services that are produced.
