More than 50 people walked from Jackson Park to 1551 Bluff St. carrying flowers in silent remembrance and reverence Saturday.
The "Service of Healing and Hope" was in response to the Sept. 1 fatal stabbing of 17-year-old April Johnson that occurred at that address. The flowers were placed in a heap on the front stoop of the building as the line of neighbors, religious leaders, city leaders and concerned citizens solemnly passed.See the full content of this document
