What better way to celebrate our freedom than to attend a great American tradition" an exciting western rodeo followed by a dramatic fireworks' display! Once again the Shenandoah Riding Center in conjunction with Big Hat Rodeo and Northern Illinois Equine Entertainment will be presenting the "Shenandoah Star Spangled Pro Rodeo" on the Fourth of July weekend. Each night professional rodeo exhibitors will compete in six events including saddle bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, bareback bronc riding, barrel racing and bull riding. General grass hillside seating will be available so bring your blankets and lawn chairs. A spectacular fireworks presentation will follow the rodeo each night, after which you can show off your fanciest two-stepping at the free barn dance inside the Riding Center. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, the GTA Owners' Club, Keg and Cask, and Happy Joes.
