Clara Nieman, daughter of James Nieman and JoAnn Post, of Dubuque, has been selected to sing alto with Celebration Iowa Singers and Jazz Band, a select 38-member touring ensemble that will perform more than 30 shows throughout Iowa this summer.

Nieman, a student at Dubuque Senior High School, was selected from more than 150 Iowa high school music students who auditioned this spring.
