One of the suspects in a R&B concert scam that left hundreds of Dubuque-area residents with tickets to a bogus show claims he also was scammed.

In two hand-written letters sent recently to a Dubuque County judge, 30-year-old Charles L. Warthan, of Chattanooga, Tenn., said he isn't getting a fair shake in the investigation into the scam that forced local organizers to cancel the Y105 Summer Jam after learning they were bilked by a slick promoter.
