His speech charmingly punctuated by the sounds of finches chirping from the branches of nearby trees, GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum, of Pennsylvania, sat on a stone bench just outside the entrance to A.Y. McDonald Company in Dubuque and spoke of the importance of business, his reason for running for president, and his hopes for America.

Calling his four-day campaign swing through Iowa his "Courage to Fight for American Jobs" tour, Santorum first spoke to McDonald Co. employees before walking outside, passing beneath a quote on a wall from company founder A.Y. McDonald who said, "We will make good products and sell them honestly."
