LA CROSSE (AP) - A man who wants the state to let hunters kill stray cats has reported he's received a wave of angry reaction to the proposal, including at least two death threats.
Mark Smith, 48, of La Crosse, says he's gotten telephone calls and messages both at work and at home since he requested the Wisconsin Conservation Congress put his proposal before people at its spring hearings in each of the state's 72 counties, according to La Crosse police.See the full content of this document
