In 2004, 58 percent of high school seniors in Jo Daviess County reported to drinking alcohol in the past month. The 2005-2010 Jo Daviess County Needs Assessment, conducted by the Health Department found "alcohol use" ranked as the number one area of concern followed by "other substance use" coming in second. The Needs Assessment has repeatedly shown "alcohol use" to be of primary concern dating back to 1993 in the county.
River Ridge Schools, in Hanover, is just one of hundreds of communities nationwide that will hold an underage drinking prevention Town Hall Meeting.See the full content of this document
