CHICAGO - Rifts have surfaced at Chicago's Poetry magazine since the publication was given a gift that has grown to $200 million.

Poetry, which began in 1912, has published writers such as Robert Frost, Langston Hughes and Sylvia Plath. Since it received the donation in 2002 from heiress Ruth Lilly, some trustees of a foundation that administers the money have resigned, saying they have concerns over plans for the gift. Others say they were forced out after criticizing leadership, the Chicago Tribune reported.
