CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Professors at Iowa's three state universities were paid a combined $3.4 million in overload pay for extra work last year, ranging from teaching extra courses to coaching a hockey team.
The schools paid out more in the bonuses during the year that ended June 30 than they did in 2008, before policies to limit overload pay were enacted, The Gazette in Cedar Rapids reported.See the full content of this document
