Summary
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The Platteville Police Department is investigating the break-in and theft of several veterinary medications from the Platteville Veterinary Clinic, 945 E. Mineral St., sometime last weekend.
Police say the medications are clearly marked and come in tablet form or injectable IV bottles. Of particular concern is the theft of several bottles of "Sleep-away" brand euthanasia solution. The substance is highly toxic, and there is no safe dosage. The substance is clearly marked with a red label and skull and crossbones on a plastic injectable fluids bottle. This substance is used to destroy sick and unwanted animals, and can kill if ingested in even small amounts. Also missing is a triple beam balance scale.See the full content of this document
