PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The Platteville School Board on Monday approved the district's proposed operating budget of about $14 million for 2006-2007. That is an increase of just over 2.4 percent from the 2005-2006 budget.
The 2006-2007 general fund tax levy is estimated to be just under $4.7 million. In addition to the general fund levy, the district has a tax levy for long-term debt service of just under $1.3 million.
