MADISON, Wis. (AP) - State officials plan to request to have the trumpeter swam be removed from the state's endangered species list and the osprey from threatened status.
From no breeding pairs in 1986, the trumpeter swan now has 126 pairs in 20 Wisconsin counties. That's above the recovery goal of at least 20 pairs by 2000.See the full content of this document
