CHICAGO (AP) - A federal magistrate on Tuesday ordered a man accused of plotting to blow up the federal courthouse in downtown Chicago to stand trial after an FBI agent testified the man had been seen in the building late last year.
Federal Magistrate Morton Denlow said prosecutors had established probable cause in the case against 66-year-old Gale William Nettles, who was arrested last week with what prosecutors said was a pickup truck containing 1,500 pounds of fertilizer that he allegedly thought was volatile ammonium nitrate, the farm chemical used to blow up the Oklahoma City federal building.See the full content of this document
