As friends and families packed up their gear for camping trips this Memorial Day weekend, some government officials wanted them to keep in mind a warning regarding firewood.

Emerald ash borer, a destructive wood boring beetle from Asia, already has killed more than 20 million ash trees since it arrived in North America five years ago and now officials hope to contain the infestation by limiting the transport of firewood.
