MANHATTAN, Ill. (AP) - A tip has led investigators to rescue 18 dogs from two residences in Joliet and Manhattan.
Humane investigator Ruby Wilson said the dogs were taken from a woman known to be an animal hoarder. Wilson said the woman had four dogs at her Joliet home and 14 in a rented barn in Manhattan.See the full content of this document
