Summary


Churches nurture their young members, providing opportunities for safe recreation, learning and interaction with caring adults. But do they extend those same opportunities to the young people just outside their church walls, who live in their neighborhood?

Nearly 100 people discussed that question and other youth- related issues at the Dubuque Faith Summit Saturday at Clarke College. The event was the first by Mississippi Valley Promise. Dubuque Area Congregations United and the Clarke College Multicultural Department helped sponsor it.
