A campaign aimed at dismantling the labor movement at The Finley Hospital has management fingerprints all over it, a union official charges. But a source close to the campaign said a nurse is leading the de-unionization effort.

A letter recently sent to Finley's union nurses asks them to help "de-unionize" the hospital. The letter asks registered nurses who "DO NOT WISH to be represented" by Service Employees International Union Local 199 to sign their names. SEIU represents less than half of Finley's approximately 330 nurses, heading for the strike lines today.
