Summary
The fifth annual United Nations Day will be held at Sinsinawa Mound Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The day is an opportunity for seventh and eighth grade area students as well as adults to participate in hands-on activities and learn about the work the United Nations does throughout the world. This year's theme is "Human Rights are God-Given Rights!" Students at St. Mary and Nativity BVM will participate.
There will be two keynote addresses for adults by Dr. Vincent Kavaloski, professor of Philosophy at Edgewood College, Madison, Wis. Kavaloski will speak on Global Citizenship and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.See the full content of this document
