IOWA CITY (AP) - Rep. Jim Leach, who is planning a trip to the region that was devastated by tsunamis, said people shouldn't be too quick to judge the country's response to the disaster.
President Bush initially pledge $15 million following the disaster. The figure was smaller than aid promised by smaller countries, such as Britain, France and Denmark, and was criticized by U.N. official Jon Egeland.See the full content of this document
