ELKADER, Iowa - Kimberly K. O'Meara, 46, of Bloomington, Ill., departed this world on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, surrounded by friends and family, following a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Kim had formerly lived in Iowa, Lincoln, Neb., and Round Rock, Texas, and leaves many cherished friends from her past.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at St. Patrick Church of Merna, Bloomington, with the Rev. Julius Turyatoranwa officiating. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friends also may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Elkader, with a brief prayer service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Elkader.See the full content of this document
