LANCASTER, Wis. - Less than 24 hours after ruling in favor of Julia Clark over Dwight Nelson for the District 12 seat on the Grant County Board of Supervisors, Grant County Circuit Court Judge Robert VanDeHey changed his decision on Wednesday.
In a letter to the parties involved, VanDeHey indicated while preparing a decision based on the order issued in court Tuesday morning, he discovered the Wisconsin Legislature changed the language on absentee ballots. Absentee ballots not initialed are allowed. The change means the absentee ballot for Nelson counted, forcing a tie with Clark.See the full content of this document
