MINERAL POINT, Wis. - It's being touted as Iowa County's final fling of the summer. The 150th annual Iowa County Fair opens Wednesday with a fireworks show and concludes Monday, Sept. 4, with a demolition derby.

"This is the big one for us," said Gary Schmit, Iowa County Fair Board president. "I'm pretty proud of the fair. We've got a lot of stuff for everybody."
