But the University of Dubuque junior hurdler made some last weekend, jetting to his second straight NCAA Division III indoor national championship in the men's 55-meter hurdles at Whitewater, Wis. Steele became the first two-time national champion in Spartans history and entered the outdoor season riding a major wave of momentum.
