Summary
Through the long winter, administrators at the Grant Regional Health Center were anxiously awaiting the thaw so planned construction work could begin at the hospital.
According to Nicole Clapp, Grant Regional CEO, work is under way on a $2.6 million project that encompasses about 11,000 square feet of renovation work. The plan is to modernize the building as well as add new construction that includes new obstetrics and rehabilitation departments, two soundproof sleep study areas, and a functioning kitchen area for teaching. There will be an area for a family lounge as well as family mediation or a chapel area for families. The project also includes a new entrance to the rehab area of the hospital.See the full content of this document
