Summary


Whenever there's a multi-vehicle pile-up during adverse conditions, they always blame the weather and visibility, but never driving too fast for conditions. They're blaming God for putting fog or ice in the area, but never blaming the drivers who want to stay on schedule.

There is a good common sense law that says, "drive no faster than will permit a stop within the assured clear distance ahead," and "must have control of vehicle at all times." There's nothing in those laws to excuse the driver(s) if the weather goes bad.
