After three months in operation, Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino's expanded slot machine operation has posted big numbers. But the seemingly robust revenue figures have missed the mark on what casino operators call "aggressive" projections.

Since launching Memorial Day weekend, revenues at the casino addition are up $3.36 million, or about 34 percent from the same 11- week period last year, according to newly released figures from the Dubuque Racing Association, the nonprofit license holder of the racetrack casino.
