URBANA, Ill. (AP) - Front-runner Judy Baar Topinka on Friday drew stronger criticism from her rivals as they sought to shake up the race for the Republican nomination for governor.

At a televised forum in Urbana attended by all the candidates, except Topinka, businessman Jim Oberweis criticized the state treasurer for failing to pledge not to raise taxes.
