GARNAVILLO, Iowa - A benefit fund for a Garber soldier critically wounded last week by an improvised explosive device while on combat patrol in Afghanistan has been established at a Garnavillo bank.
Spc. Adam Eilers, of the Iowa Army National Guard's Company A, 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry, headquartered in Dubuque, has multiple internal and external injuries, including a head injury, and is in critical condition. He was moved to a military hospital in Germany on Sunday. The hope is he will be moved to a hospital in the United States when his condition permits.See the full content of this document
