The Fennimore Common Council approved an agreement for Alltel to exercise an option to purchase nearly two acres of land in the city's Industrial Park. The price of the lot is approximately $24,000.

This will enable Alltel to construct a telecommunications tower. The site is located north of Agriliance at the intersection of Bronson Boulevard and Industrial Drive.
