The Elkader City Council recently heard a report concerning the progress of a major water project in the city.
City Manager Jennifer Cowsert said the $2 million Phase 1 part of the project is on schedule with new wells completed and one-third of the water mains installed. A new water tower will be erected in early August, and the entire Phase 1 stage should be completed in November.See the full content of this document
