The cafe: Gourmet coffees including espresso, cappuccino, mocha, latte and seasonal specialty drinks are offered, in addition to regular coffee, hot cocoa and an assortment of other hot and cold teas. The lunch: Chocolaterie Stam offers a weekly lunch menu, specializing in specific dishes on selected days of the week. The gifts: Patrons can pick up chocolate, coffee, tea, mugs, wine glasses and other unique finds. You don't say: In 1913, Netherlander Jacobus Stam began specializing in chocolates. Chocolaterie Stam was founded. Three of Stam's four sons -- Frits, Wim and Jaap -- and one daughter -- Fredi -- joined their father in the chocolate business in the late '30s and early '40s. The business boomed and was joined in 1978 by Stam's second eldest son -- Ad. The youngest of Frits's seven sons -- Ton -- believed America would appreciate his father's chocolate.
