MADISON (AP) - Wisconsin has experienced a remarkable economic turnaround and there is a shortage of trained people to hold jobs, Gov. Jim Doyle said Wednesday before beginning a series of town hall meetings regarding his annual state of the state message to lawmakers.
"The state's financial picture is much better than it has been in many, many years," Doyle said. "Just today the news that came out showing the problem we're dealing with is not a shortage of jobs anymore. It's a shortage of people and trained people to hold jobs."See the full content of this document
