Sledding is just plain winter fun. It is the kind of exercise that doesn't require coaches, referees or scorekeepers. It's a group activity embraced by all ages - even adults.

"There's only one way to get back up the hill," said Jerry Hermsen, physical education instructor at Kennedy Elementary School. That uphill climb makes sledding good aerobic exercise.
