CHICAGO (AP) - Thomas Jones practiced just one time in training camp, running with the scout squad on the final day. In his mind, he knows who the Chicago Bears' starting running back is, no matter what the depth chart says right now.

In a long interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, Jones said he can't understand why he was dropped to second team after missing voluntary team workouts in the offseason. He didn't get to show much in training camp because he hurt a hamstring while running during a pre-camp physical.
