AMES, Iowa (AP) - Wagner's strategy of stopping Iowa State's top three scorers worked - for awhile, anyway.

The Seahawks kept Curtis Stinson, Will Blalock and Jared Homan in check much of the game, but John Neal scored all of his 16 points in the first half and the Cyclones used a 22-7 run in the second half to pull away for a 62-50 victory on Sunday.
