The Fennimore Common Council has given the OK to a union contract with the city clerical workers, the first-ever union contract for clerical employees with the city.
The contract covers the deputy clerk-treasurer and the utility clerk. They will be represented by International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. That is the same union that represents utility employees in Fennimore. Both will receive a pay raise to $15.37 an hour.
