Today, though, forget sports drinks like the scarily named Endurex R4, which sounds like something you should guzzle before enduring yet another performance of your grandnieces in "The Nutcracker." According to an article in The New York Times - I was sipping strong Joe with fully fatted half and half as I read it - several recent studies have shown coffee reduces risk of diabetes, heart diseases and, drum roll here: cirrhosis of the liver.
