It's time for all you self-proclaimed chili-dog eating champs in East Dubuque to step up to the plate. Mulgrew's Tavern and George and Dale's will sponsor a chili-dog eating contest at this year's Fun Days to be held Sunday, Sept. 30.

Competitions will take place every hour on the hour, beginning at noon. Participants can sign up the day of the event, and there is a $10 entry fee. The chili-dog eating champ will take home a $300 cash prize and a trophy, and their picture will hang in Mulgrew's and George and Dale's for all to see.
