CASCADE, Iowa - Cascade City Council members said they will seriously consider a request from the Cascade Economic Development Corp. for help in purchasing land for the city's industrial park.

The corporation wants to buy 60 to 70 acres from Chuck Koppes, who owns farmland on the east side of town near the industrial park and the new Oak Hill subdivision. The group then would develop lots for industrial sites and possibly build a spec building.
