At 3:00 a.m. on June 13, 1999, Brian Dieschbourg was involved in an altercation at the Des Plaines Oasis off 1-90 that left him critically injured. He was rushed by ambulance to Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines for a five-hour emergency surgery.
